CBS Seafood

First time in LA. By the end of the day, we found this restaurant. The crab meat with fish maw soup was very good, as well as the steamed bun Xiao Long Bao. Don’t not recommend the mixed seafood with eggplants from hot pot category if you don’t usually eat salted seafood. The manager(I guess) was very kind and caring. I happened to blood bleeding when we were having food, and he brought me ice cubes and told me to wrap the ice with the towel. 5 stars for the food and service!

After the change of ABC Seafood restaurant to just a to go store front. This as been my go to for dim sum in Chinatown LA! I've never had to wait more that 10 minutes to get seated and the dim sum carts are very attentive to the guests so getting what you want is as easy as asking if it's available that day. Normally, they'll have most of the staples, but for a bit more or less popular things like congee, sauteed tripe, or veggie dumpings they may or may not have it. There are times they wont have it on the carts but they'll just make it per request (probably need to ask nicely ;)). Parking can be a bit complicated since their parking lot is a bit small, but if you're getting dimsum in the AM there shouldnt be that much of a problem to either get lot or street parking (just be mindful of the meters and street signs!). Theres also a pay lot accross the street so there's always something to fall back on if you want to just not deal with it!

I don't believe I have anything bad to say about CBS Seafood Restaurant. Visiting Los Angeles and thought this would be the perfect place to go. The price per items were very good compared to other places I have visited in my home town. I ordered (2) Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, Egg Rolls, Orange Chicken, Shrimp and Leek Dumplings, Beef Noodle, and Fried Shrimp Rolls. ALL the food that was ordered is delicious. The services was fast. Staff members were very kind and friends. Food was hot and fresh. I have provided pictures of most of the items I ordered. If anyone is in the area, would recommend stopping here. Great food at great prices.
